This meeting on 11 October will be an occasion to learn more about the outcomes of the 9th European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG) that took place in Brussels in June 2016 under the theme "Embracing the digital (r)evolution", hosted by EURid (the .eu registry) in cooperation with the European Commission. The key messages from EuroDIG are now available at this link.

This meeting will also offer a broad overview of the expectations for the next Internet Governance Forum (IGF) that will take place in Guadalajara, Mexico (6-9 December) – the first IGF under the new ten year mandate and after the IANA transition. The IANA transition will be further discussed on 11 October at an EIF debate with the ICANN President and CEO Goran Marby.MEPs, EIF members and friends will be invited to participate and contribute to the discussion.
