In view of the upcoming IGF 2021 in Katowice, this EIF preparatory meeting will bring together Internet Governance experts from the European Parliament, the European Commission, the UN, EuroDIG and the industry, to consider how European stakeholders contributed so far to the process of the United Nations Secretary General’s Roadmap on Digital Cooperation and to discuss how to make the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) more responsive and relevant to current digital issues.

It will also look into the latest developments regarding the participation of Parliamentarians at the IGF, which has been recently consolidated with special tracks within the IGF programme in recognition of their important role as legislators and stakeholders.
