Nele Eichhorn is a Member of Cabinet of Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström. She has worked in the European Commission since 2005 on inter-institutional issues, on the policy of large-scale IT systems underpinning the Schengen area as well as on internal market, digital, enterprise, industry and transport policies. Prior to joining the European Commission, she worked as a diplomat in the Permanent Representation of Estonia to the EU.
