#AItowards2040

The debate is a follow-up of last year’s event, hosted by MEP Voss ‘Global Perspectives on AI Regulation: Navigating Intellectual Property Landscapes & Connecting the Political Bubbles’. The objective is to bridge the gap between different "political bubbles"/ international fora in order to share updates on their approach to AI Governance and intellectual property (with a focus on copyright).

Over the last year, global AI governance has taken significant steps forward, with the OECD Hiroshima AI Process shaping multilateral discussions.

At the same time, countries such as the UK are making substantial progress, in shaping national AI regulation, adding another dimension to the global debate.
