Christophe Kiener has been working on international trade relations and negotiations for more than two decades, in areas ranging from industrial tariffs, to agriculture, services and investment. He currently heads the European Commission’s Unit in charge of services and digital trade. In this function, he is notably leading the EU’s negotiating team in WTO negotiations on e-commerce. He is also supervising all EU bilateral negotiations on services and digital trade, and used to co-chair the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA) negotiations. Christophe studied at the Graduate Institute for International Studies (University of Geneva) and the College of Europe (both in Bruges and in Warsaw).
