Edina Tóth was born in Hungary in 1975. Edina graduated from the Faculty of History and English at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 1998, the Századvég School of Politics in 1999 and in European Studies at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna in 2000.
Edina Tóth started her political activities by becoming Vice-President of Fidelitas, the youth organisation of Fidesz, in 1996. She was committed to supporting the work of the European People's Party (EPP) and was elected as a Vice-President of its student organisation (EDS) in 1999.
As for her professional career, Edina Tóth worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and MEP József Szájer in Hungary. She joined the EPP Group as an advisor in 2004 and worked for the Industry, Research and Energy Committee until 2019.
