Yordanka Ivanova is a Legal and Policy Officer in the European Commission (DG CNECT, A2) in the unit responsible for ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE POLICY DEVELOPMENT AND COORDINATION. She started her career in the European Commission in 2011 and since 2017 she works in DG CNECT on the Commission proposal for Artificial Intelligence Regulation. Outside the Commission, Yordanka has experience as a researcher and attorney-at-law, advising companies on EU regulations, including in the area of data protection, consumer protection, digital services, financial services, cybersecurity and copyright.
