Tatiana Tropina is Assistant Professor in cybersecurity governance at the Institute of Security and Global Affairs, Leiden University and an Associate Fellow of The Hague Program on International Cyber Security. Previously, she was a senior researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law in Freiburg, Germany.
A lawyer by education, for the last 15 years, Tatiana has been engaged in academic research, policy, and advocacy in the field of cybercrime, cybersecurity, ICT regulation, and Internet governance. She is a co-chair of the Freedom Online Coalition Advisory Network and in recent years has also held various leadership positions in the ICANN community.
