Degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Master's Degree in Telecommunications Business from the IE Business School.
A professional career developed mostly in the Telecommunications sector.
After returning from the United States, I began my professional career in consulting at Atos ODS, after that, and for 10 years, I held several positions related to the development of software projects at Telefónica R&D, the Telefónica company focused on research, development and innovation.
I moved my professional career to the public entity Red.es, where I held several management positions. This entity was focused on the development of government programs to promote the Information Society in Spain.
Then, I returned to Telefónica, in the Strategic Analysis area of Telefónica Spain, linked to the development of the company's strategic plans.
From Telefónica de España I moved to join Telefonica Corporation, to create and develop the “International Office” of Telefónica S.A., the department where Telefónica's policies related to the Internet and the digital world are designed.
In the last 10 years I have held different management positions in the areas of Regulation, Public Policies and Public Affairs at Telefónica S.A.
Currently, I am director of Digital Public Policy at Telefónica S.A.
I am also Associate Professor at the School of Telecommunications Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
