The Internet Governance Forum brings people together from various stakeholder groups as equals, in discussions on public policy issues relating to the Internet. While there is no negotiated outcome, the IGF informs and inspires those with policy-making power in both the public and private sectors — helping delegates exchange information and share good practices, and facilitating a common understanding of how to maximize opportunities and address risks.
The 21st annual meeting of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF 2026) will be held 14-18 December in Nairobi, Kenya, under the overarching theme, “Governing the Internet in the Age of Intelligence: Our Shared Responsibility”.
Interested participants are invited to subscribe to the IGF Newsletter to stay informed about IGF preparations and intersessional activities.
