Tara Whalen is Principal Privacy Specialist at the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Tara previously worked in technical privacy roles at Cloudflare, Google, Apple, and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. She has a PhD in computer science and a Master of Laws, and has spent over 25 years in the information security and privacy fields.
