Michele Gamberini was appointed Chief Innovation Information Technology Officer at TIM in April 2021.
Michele graduated in Electronic Engineering in Rome and has 30 years of experience in telco operators worldwide; he has been working at Telecom Italia since 1996.

Prior to his appointment he served as Chief Technology & Information Officer at TIM.
In his role he ensured the evolution of the networks and of the IT to support the ongoing process of digital transformation. He brought together integrated engineering, the development and operation processes of the technological infrastructures, the platforms and IT applications, and the management of operations and quality of the networks and of E2E services.

He also served as Head of Network & Service Engineering, responsible for engineering, testing and the development of fixed and mobile access and core networks, transport and IP domains, Service Platforms, Multi-Media Solutions, Network Automation.
