‘Smart farming’ can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. More importantly we should ask ourselves what benefits in agriculture Europe can reap from the ongoing digitisation of the economy and society. In order to find this out, host Member of the European Parliament Franc Bogovic and EIF, will organise a virtual event exploring what the building blocks are for successful ‘smart farming’ in Europe and to assess whether this works in practice and in policy.
