The upcoming review of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is a key milestone in aligning technology with the principles of environmental sustainability and the circular economy. This review opens the door to an extensive dialogue aimed at reducing electronic waste and encouraging the adoption of innovative recycling technologies. It will also bring to the forefront the ways in which businesses can adapt to changing regulations, stressing the importance of adopting sustainable and environmentally conscious practices in the management of electronic waste. This panel discussion will act as a critical forum for EU stakeholders, focusing on collaborative strategies for sustainable electronic waste management in line with the WEEE Directive review.
